Content/ Digital Asset Operations Manager
Pay Rate: Up to $70/hr depending on experience
Location: 100% Remote (PST preferred)
Duration: ~ 6 Months (possible extension depending on the candidate)
Our well-known Technology client is in search of a Content/ Digital Asset Operations Manager to join their team. This role will be 40 hours a week, for roughly 6 months. This role is 100% remote, but prefers someone working in PST time zone.
Content/ Digital Asset Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Quality check that all content is entered, tagged, and stored correctly within the DAM.
- Manage and maintain digital assets such as images, videos, and other multimedia content.
- Ensure that the content is tagged with HTML correctly, has the proper use of metadata, and is in the right places.
- Serve as the content and digital asset management tools SME.
- Manage uploading and tagging of content for Digital Asset (DAM) and Content Management tools
- Support timely intake of content from a wide range of marketing teams.
- Configure and customize dashboards within the management tool to meet business and stakeholder needs.
- Ensure documentation and training guides stay up to date.
- Maintain, assess, and adjust standards and protocols as necessary for content and asset ingest, rights management, and metadata entry.
- Train users on how to effectively search, retrieve, and utilize content within tools.
- Monitor tools performance and troubleshoot any technical issues or errors that arise.
- Perform regular audits of files and metadata to ensure consistency and alert stakeholders of any discrepancies.
- Provide technical support and assistance to users encountering difficulties with systems.
- Develop dashboards and reports about the content in partnership with analytics.
- Develop lightweight, repeatable processes, workflows and content templates.
- Raise red flags when issues arise and communicate those with the proper stakeholders.
- 5+ years’ experience of digital asset and content management systems administration, such as Widen Collective and Highspot.
- Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of database management, file formats, and digital asset manipulation tools.
- Knowledge of project management and leading a team through the cycle of the creative process.
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite.
- Design and HTML experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of digital assets effectively.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
