Description
This is a Sr. Business Analyst position within Huntington’s Consumer Finance Business Management team. The Consumer Finance segment includes a wide variety of retail lending solutions such as Mortgage Lending, Home Equity, Unsecured Personal Loans, and Auto/RV/Marine Loans that enables financing for personal, family, or household purposes. Additionally, Commercial Dealer Credit solutions provide access to funds to enable dealers to purchase equipment, inventory, and fund daily operations. The Business Management & Strategy Execution team is responsible for driving operational efficiencies across the segment, developing, coordinating, and implementing the segment’s strategic plan, and liaising with various support partners throughout Huntington.
You will need to become an expert in providing business support and analysis to help define strategy and execute tactics to meet the segment’s goals and objectives, including:
- Critical thinking skills to come up with the right questions to ask or problems that need to be solved
- Ability to effectively visualize and summarize work product for a variety of audiences
- Strong presentation, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to simply layout clear options and recommendations for decision makers
The following are core responsibilities of this role:
- Aggregation of Consumer Finance monthly business review materials
- Management of the Consumer Finance Essentials homepage and its evolution
- Lead the planning and execution of segment communications, town halls, and other colleague events
- Activating the Consumer Finance brand both internally & externally
- Strategic support administration and reporting of Consumer Finance digital investments, product marketing, strategic partnership execution, and other ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or other technical degree.
- At least 5 years of related experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage a queue of deliverables & requests with minimum supervision.
- Strong communications skills; written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions.
- Strategic thinker.
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
