- Marketing to the client begins with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. The client's products address the world's challenges—from the everyday to the epic, and from the mundane to the monumental.
- You will join a TV marketing team to shape the future of television. From developing product positioning to driving consumer research and evolving brand architecture, you will own the narrative for the TV platform.
- Additionally, you will work closely with product, brand, and retail marketing teams, collaborating as part of a cross-functional team that includes go-to-market & business development, engineering, product, UX, corporate communications, legal, and others.
Responsibilities:
- Product positioning and narrative: Lead messaging, identity, positioning/value proposition, naming, brand architecture and communication of TV platforms. Partner with cross-functional leadership to drive product roadmap & strategy.
- Product launches: Manage all aspects of marketing for launches of new products. Drive strategy and execution of global launches working closely with partners and regional marketing teams.
- Product & Partner Marketing assets: Own strategy for key assets such as websites, product videos, blog posts, and more. Scale Android TV marketing messages through key partner campaigns.
- User insights: Develop actionable consumer insights to inform product and marketing strategy through primary research projects and other consumer research techniques, working closely cross-functional teams including UX, Design, PM, and Support.
Mandatory:
- Experience in the consumer electronics or media & entertainment industries.
- Experience in product marketing, go-to-market, marketing research, and brand architecture.
- Proven track record developing marketing plans through actionable insights and recommendations.
- Experience with writing consumer-facing copies would be a plus.
- Experience managing external creative agencies to timeline and budget.
