Leidos Engineering has an opportunity for qualified Administrative Analyst for our Georgia-based Safety Program. The Administrative Analyst will be part of Leidos' Power Delivery Services division, which provides consulting services to public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities. These consulting services provide utility clients with overall project management tasks in the areas of comprehensive engineering design of electrical transmission, distribution & substation projects.
This position will assist various administrative tasks related to the overall execution of the Safety program. The Administrative position will be responsible for helping to record Safety Crew Observations and documenting safety crew work hours, mileage and reimbursable costs. This role will report to the Leidos Safety Manager. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage shared email boxes; Notify staff of past due deadlines or jobs that are not progressing
- Ensure timely update of work management system (WMS)
- Import, review and verify data from field work; Act as daily contact and dispatcher for fielding staff
- Coordinate electronic access and physical equipment: Arrange for access to client systems; Ensure timely delivery client notifications
- Provide basic accounting services: Calculate weekly revenue recognition; Generate invoices for client
- Generate reports and provide metrics to staff on regular basis
- Provide monthly cost accrual report to contractor for various programs.
- Update and monitor invoice information in project workflow software including invoiced amounts, status or approval/payment, and remaining funding
- Find errors in invoicing and time-charging. Provide feedback to Safety Observers to correct.
Reporting Financial information in various project tools
Build and edit job status workflows and metric information in project software to optimize each client’s specific job cycle and necessary data.
Background Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Requires 5+ years of previous relevant experience executing administrative tasks in an electric utility environment
- Requires proven verbal and written communication skills
- The successful execution of this role will require organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
The pay range for this position is $45/hour.
