Consulting Associate, Stormwater Inspector (Entry Level) - Environmental Resources Management, Inc.

ERM is seeking a motivated Consulting Associate, Stormwater Inspector, who is interested in participating in environmental compliance projects in the Denver, CO area. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical assistance on environmental compliance, site investigation, and due diligence transaction projects.

• Conduct site inspections to verify environmental compliance at client sites.

• Perform environmental compliance assessments and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, storm water, NPDES, and wastewater programs. 

• Research and document legal environment regulations at the local, state and federal levels.

• Provide general environmental compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance as needed.

• Perform multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.

• Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to effectively manage projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in engineering, environmental science, biology, chemistry, geology, or other science degree.

• 0+ years (1 to 2 years preferred) of relevant environmental compliance experience or professional internships. 

• Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Local candidates preferred.

For the Consulting Associate, Stormwater Inspector position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $62,377 – $70,440 (USD).  An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.  We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above.  This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary based performance bonus.
