Job Summary:
We are seeking a Consulting Actuary/Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to support a book of business in the West Region, focusing on the Public Sector market. The CRM will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, driving project delivery, and contributing to the continued growth of the public sector retirement benefits consulting business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients.
- Anticipate client needs and propose innovative solutions.
- Ensure client satisfaction and deliver high-quality consulting services.
- Project Leadership:
- Guide client service teams in delivering impactful solutions.
- Apply advanced actuarial concepts, methods, and applications to address client challenges.
- Innovate client deliverables and provide strategic expertise on retirement benefit issues.
- New Business Development:
- Lead initiatives targeting new and existing clients in the Public Sector market.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide a full array of consulting services.
- Team Mentorship:
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering intellectual and professional growth within client service teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in employee benefits consulting, with exposure to public sector retirement plan strategies.
- Bachelor's degree required; ASA accreditation (FSA preferred).
- Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Strong business acumen, leadership skills, and ability to analyze complex issues.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.

- Proven expertise in retirement plan design and implementation.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and emerging trends.
