What You'll be Doing:
Our Torq Digital practice is looking for superstars who will fill a key role by working with our clients to develop and deliver strategic initiatives across their organization. Your passion, knowledge and confidence will fuel a powerful experience that drives meaningful impact for our clients. Below are some of the key things you’ll need to excel in:
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js, Java, and/or AWS services.
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Identifies problems, performs root cause analysis, investigates information, performs impact analysis, and formulates and executes plans to develop solutions.
- Identifies strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Understands and can estimate effort and value for solutions
- Understands at a broad level how technology platforms/architectures are applied to automated business solutions.
- Able to work effectively in a strong Customer service / team oriented environment. - Able to research, create, and document requirements, processes, and technical specifications.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple and widely varied work streams / tasks.
- Able to take on multiple assignments, whether administrative or project related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible work. Able to mentor others to do the same.
- Able to develop, present and effectively communicate ideas and strategies to a variety of audiences.
- Able to teach and mentor others concerning technical and business subjects.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Experience with benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as GIT
- Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc)
- Understands how to write quality code within a microservice architecture
- Experience with full-stack development and willing to jump into the back-end systems as well.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Preferably 2 years of experience as a software developer working in an agile environment.
- 4-year degree in computer science, information technology, or similar field
- Loves the challenge of driving teams towards a common goal, with little direction or oversight
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills
- Proven success in an Agile ecosystem and bonus points for SAFe experience

The salary range for this position considers multiple factors influencing compensation decisions, such as skillset, previous experience, certifications, and various business & organizational requirements. Being hired at or near the top of the range for this role is uncommon, as compensation determinations rely on individual circumstances. Currently, the base salary range is estimated to be between [$80,000 and $130,000].
