About the Job
Consultant
Most of your time will be spent with our customers helping guide pharmacy automation and improve business outcomes while working in parallel with cross-functional teams. We will look to you to provide experiences that compel our customers to partner with us. You will advise customers on workflows that optimize medication management to create safety and more efficient ways to manage medications across all care settings.
Your key responsibilities
+ Responsible for end-to-end implementations that are multi-product and solutions while working independently either onsite or remote.
+ Advise customers and resolve technical issues affecting usability utilizing a wide knowledge of Omnicell’s products and solutions.
+ Delegate project tasks to more junior resources while influencing outcomes to meet project timelines, as well as the adherence to best practices, policies, and procedures.
+ Facilitate in person and virtual meetings with a high level of effectiveness.
+ Lead discovery meetings to identify and establish customer workflows.
+ Manage multiple competing priorities while providing quality results and mentoring peers.
+ Assist more junior resources in the resolution of customer, project, and consulting issues (people and technology) that could impact customer relationship and project timelines.
+ Communicate project issues and risks appropriately following escalation procedures.
+ Lead design conversations with our customers, establish customer workflows and partnering with our customers to achieve desired outcomes.
+ Represent professional services on-site with customers in the healthcare setting.
+ Lead conversations with audiences of all levels to present solutions and explain technical issues.
+ Contribute to customer satisfaction and success of project implementations collectively with the project management and technical services team.
+ Capable of working with our customers to be care providers most trusted partner while helping clinicians optimize workflows and medication management.
Required knowledge and skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfort leading conversations with audiences of all levels to present solutions and the ability to explain technical issues in clear understandable language.
+ Ability to identify potential risks (people and technology) that will impact customer relationship and project timelines, develop mitigation strategies.
+ Exceptionally high organizational and time management skills.
+ Demonstrated application of technology within a cloud-based platform and delivering solutions as a service.
+ Actively listening to customers’ needs to design solutions and partnering to deliver the desired outcomes.
+ Solutions Oriented – someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, identify a problem and come to the team with a solution.
To qualify for the role
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ High level of initiative, ability to work independently and mentor others.
+ Experience with multiple end-to-end implementations.

+ Excellent skills with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
+ May require product specific certification for FDA approved products or knowledge of healthcare regulations, when handling specialized products. The specialty area of Sterile compounding requires a CSPT Certification - Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT).
+ Omnicell internal candidates’ completion of department specific trainings and mentoring.
Education and Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare setting w/ Associates Degree or Professional Healthcare Certification OR BA/BS degree OR 10yrs experience consulting on healthcare solution implementations
_AND_
3 years of experience consulting on healthcare solution implementations
Preferred : BS/BA degree in Healthcare, Project management, Business, Finance, or IT/IS
Working Conditions
+ Must be able to travel based on requirements for assigned project work (up to 100%)
+ Must be able to lift/push heavy equipment and have good dexterity for doing routine configuration tasks.
