Job Title: Traveling Superintendent - Construction

An esteemed General Contractor providing Construction Management, Design/Build and General Contracting services is seeking to add a Traveling Superintendent that will coordinate all site construction activities and supervise all field personnel. Superintendent Functions:
- Manage day-to-day on-site construction.
- Coordinating schedules, manpower, equipment and resources
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Review and approve all subcontractor and vendor payment as well as timely preparation of payment requisitions.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Maintain accurate and detailed daily reports on project activities.
- Ensure projects are completed to the highest quality standards and within budget.
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the on-site construction activities of multifamily/luxury condo projects from start to finish. Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Superintendent Qualifications:
- 5 proven years as a true lead supervisor
- Must have a proven work history working with a General Contractor
- Demonstrated experience commercial projects in the $5-50M range.
- Proficiency with safety procedures
- Extensive people skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
