We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Trades Teacher to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Construction Trades Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring professionals in the construction industry. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons that cover a wide range of topics related to construction trades for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement curriculum plans in alignment with state standards and educational best practices.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and encourages hands-on learning experiences.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to enhance the educational experience and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and compliance with relevant regulations and protocols.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience working in the construction industry, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction trades and techniques, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment.
• Dedication to fostering student success and promoting career readiness.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
