Commercial Construction Superintendent
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Company Overview: Join a dynamic and growing construction company specializing in diverse commercial projects, including Commercial Retail, Auto Dealerships, large retail stores, and more. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our teams to success. As a Construction Management position, this role requires a blend of leadership, project management, and on-site skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on various commercial projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the construction process.
- Enforce safety protocols and standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. OSHA 30 certification is mandatory.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, making necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project logs.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a Superintendent position, specifically working on commercial construction projects such as Commercial Retail, Auto Dealerships, and large retail stores
- OSHA 30 certification is mandatory.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide construction teams.
- Proven track record of successfully completing commercial construction projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in Retail construction projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to wear a toolbelt and provide hands-on leadership when required.
