Your Role:
As a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent, you’ll oversee retail remodel and upfit projects, ensuring they’re completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain safety compliance, and foster positive client relationships. Projects may require local travel and occasional night work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site
- Maintain schedules, quality control, and safety compliance
- Order materials, schedule inspections, and manage daily reporting
- Conduct weekly progress meetings with trades
- Review job cost reporting and assist with budget control
- Manage subcontractor scopes, site logistics, and construction plans
- Ensure clean and organized job sites and successful project close-outs
What You Bring:
- Experience: 4-6 years supervising remodel/upfit work in retail (Publix or Walmart experience preferred)
- Skills: Expertise in scheduling, field supervision, safety, and quality control
- Leadership: Hands-on leadership with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
