Position Overview

The MEP Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) activities on a large-scale industrial project in Liberty, NC. This role ensures the successful execution of MEP systems in both industrial and commercial projects while maintaining safety standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate MEP installation processes on construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality control of MEP systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and adherence to plans and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving for MEP-related issues that arise during construction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and report on MEP activities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
