Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent – K-12 Projects

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of K-12 construction experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing ground-up and renovation projects in the education sector. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of K-12 construction projects, from preconstruction to project closeout.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
- Prepare and present progress reports to leadership and clients.
Construction Superintendent Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, methods, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of safety compliance and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and client relationships.
Construction Superintendent Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or PMP.
- Experience in both ground-up and renovation K-12 projects.
