Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent – Ground-Up Healthcare Projects

Superintendent Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing ground-up healthcare projects. This role requires a results-driven leader with an eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Superintendent Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of construction, from groundbreaking to project completion, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Lead on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Maintain strict adherence to healthcare facility construction standards and regulations, including infection control and specialized infrastructure requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project alignment.
• Conduct daily on-site inspections to monitor progress and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Manage project schedules, material orders, and subcontractor activities to avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders.

Superintendent Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent managing ground-up healthcare construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare-specific construction codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., infection control measures, HVAC requirements, etc.).
• Proficient in project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel or relocate, depending on project location.
