Construction Superintendent- Earthwork, Underground Utilities

Our client is a large-scale earth moving company. They work all over the Southeast In several different areas of construction.  They are seeking a Full-Time earthwork, underground utilities construction superintendent with a long-term career opportunity in mind.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.
• Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs.
• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to safely meet budget and timeline.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
• Create schedules for site workers and subcontractors.
• Hire, train, manage and assign worksite labor accordingly.
• Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.
• Make changes in the operation as necessary to meet construction deadlines safely.
• Implement management techniques that drive safety, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.

Experience: Civil Grading and Underground Utilities/ Site Construction and Supervision

Skills: Ability to read Civil Drawings, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft project, Excel, Bid2win and, a knowledge of efficiently moving dirt, and production of underground history.
