About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Renovation Superintendent to oversee and manage renovation projects, particularly in environments with stringent security restrictions such as airports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on renovation projects, and experience in Design-Build projects is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of renovation projects from planning to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Security Compliance: Manage and coordinate construction activities in compliance with airport or similar high-security environments, ensuring all security protocols are strictly followed.
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Design-Build Coordination: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate design and construction processes, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on renovation projects ideally in high-security environments such as airports.
- Design-Build Experience: Experience with Design-Build projects is highly desirable.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, LEED, or OSHA are a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
