Responsibilities:

• Monitor project schedule, budget, and prepare regular reports
• Maintain records, prepare correspondence, and detailed project status reports
• Perform construction project management duties including review of material submittals, contractor pay estimates, and contractor performance
• Make field visits during construction and interact with contractors regarding project issues and standards
• Inspect ongoing construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and barricade standards
• Train inspectors and coordinate daily project work activities for inspection team
• Assist in developing project management plans, defining tasks, and managing resources
• Track project deliverables and assure quality, reporting progress to all stakeholders
• Foster an honest, respectful, and enjoyable work environment at Lamb-Star
• May engage in surveying, drafting/design work, and the preparation of monthly and final invoice billing

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
• Basic understanding of civil engineering design, construction management, and field surveying
• Familiarity with construction materials, inspection practices, and contract requirements
• Proficiency in operating personal computers, drafting tools, and survey instruments
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with team members to interpret construction drawings, prepare cost estimates, and work independently
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours
• Employment is conditional upon successful completion of background, drug and motor vehicle screenings
