Security Clearance Requirements:***Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.***

Position Summary:

Silver Lake Construction, LLC (a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualifiedConstruction Security Escortwho provides the knowledge, skills and experience required to manage the escorting requirements on construction projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Meet uncleared workers at their point of ingress to the secure environment
•    Observe uncleared workers while they perform their work duties to ensure they are not accessing sensitive or classified areas, documents, and/or materials
•    Report any suspicious activities
•    Escort uncleared workers to the restrooms, break rooms, lunch areas and other areas as required
•    Keep uncleared workers in sight as long as they are in the secure environment
•    Escort uncleared worker to the point of egress of the secure environment
•    Maintain continuous vigilance/observation/control of the uncleared personnel while these personnel are in classified spaces.
•    Must be able to stand for extended periods of time based on their work shift.
•    Attend Site Safety Meetings. 
•    Complete daily field reports as well as other documentation such as but not limited to sign in/sign out sheet for construction workers.
•    Monitor construction workers and enforce security procedures/guidelines established by the NISPOM, Facility Security Team and other governing regulations
•    Enforce site control measures. 
•    Verify physical security barriers are in place at all times in the work zone to deny unauthorized access.
•    Verify signs at all entry points listing prohibited and restricted items. 
•    Conduct daily checks and ensure that the workspace is sanitized on a daily basis and the end of each shift.
•    Coordinate with Government Security Representative and provide written reports of security violation within 24 hours although notification will be immediate.
•    Unarmed individual with a Top Secret clearance to provide escort services for construction services to ensure security guidelines are adhered to. 
•    Dress Code is to be Business Casual. Clothing is to be clean and appropriate.
•    Typical construction PPE is required to be worn while on the job site, this includes but isn't limited to the following Hard Hat, Hi-Vis Vest, Eye Protection and safety toe shoes/boots.
•    Regular working hours between 6:00am-6:00pm, Monday thru Friday.
•    Occasional after hours work for shut-downs will be scheduled in advance

REQUIREMENTS:

***Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.

Other Requirements:

•   Physical Work Location will vary but will be in the DC Metro region. The individual will report to the Purcellville, Virginia office.

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:

•  Some walking and standing required. You may have to lift and carry equipment (i.e. books, tools) weighing approximately 10-15 pounds.
•    Most of the work is performed indoors
•    Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time
•    Requires standing for periodically
•    Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend
