Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a highly skilled Construction Scheduler to join our client’s team based in The Dalles, OR. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in scheduling construction projects using P6 (Primavera) Scheduling software, with a strong background in civil, mechanical, and electrical activities. The Construction Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget by effectively coordinating project timelines, tracking procurement deliveries, and monitoring progress. Additionally, the successful candidate will have comprehensive experience in cost tracking to ensure project financials remain on target. This is a remote position.
Construction Scheduler Schedule: Full Time
Construction Scheduler Pay: $120K – 125K ($55-60/hr)
Construction Scheduler Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize P6 (Primavera) Scheduling software to develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and constraints.
- Develop comprehensive schedules that account for all phases of construction, including civil, mechanical, and electrical activities.
- Track procurement deliveries and ensure materials and equipment are delivered according to project timelines.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, proactively implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with the project team to assess schedule impacts of changes and modifications, and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Conduct regular schedule analysis and reporting to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, progress, and potential risks.
- Implement and maintain cost tracking systems to monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Provide support and guidance to junior schedulers or project team members as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in construction scheduling to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
Construction Scheduler Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in scheduling construction projects, with a strong proficiency in P6 (Primavera) Scheduling software.
- Extensive experience scheduling civil, mechanical, and electrical activities in construction projects of varying complexity and scale.
- Demonstrated ability to track procurement deliveries and manage materials logistics effectively.
- Proven track record in cost tracking and financial management within construction projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
