Kavaliro has partnered with an engineering firm to hire a Construction Safety Manager. This role collaborates closely with Area Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen. The primary focus is on supporting and implementing our Safety and Health processes to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and objectives. The position oversees management of multiple project sites across Nevada, California, and Hawaii, involving frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold a divisional Safety and Health Program that meets or exceeds corporate standards.
- Ensure timely submission of statistical data to corporate headquarters.
- Manage all administrative tasks related to safety documentation and filing systems.
- Serve as a resource for field operations on company safety programs and regulatory compliance (OSHA, state, local).
- Aid in Pre-Construction Safety Planning Meetings and employee inductions.
- Conduct routine site evaluations, follow-up on corrective actions, and track deficiencies.
- Participate in Tool Box Talks and discussions.
- Assist in incident investigations and create opportunities for learning.
- Collaborate actively with Risk Management to identify claims trends and plan proactive risk management strategies.
- Deliver and document employee training pertinent to their roles.
- Track company safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using our online safety platform.
- Extensive regional travel required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' field safety experience in the Construction Industry.
- Preferred 2+ years of construction safety supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in construction safety and management techniques.
- Comprehensive understanding of company programs and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
- CHST certification
- OSHA 510

Salary
$60000 - $80000 per annum
