Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of construction and real estate matters including acquisitions, leasing, development, financing, and disposition.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate and construction contracts and agreements.
- Represent clients in real estate transactions, foreclosures, and bankruptcy proceedings.
- Advise clients on land use and zoning issues, and represent them in related proceedings.
- Handle litigation matters related to construction and real estate.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support client cases.
- Assist with entity formation and provide advice on legal structure and business strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting construction and real estate, and advise clients accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must have a valid license to practice law in the state.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction & Real Estate Attorney.
- Proven expertise in real estate law, construction law, foreclosure, bankruptcy, entity formation, and land use.
- Strong experience in handling real estate transactions.
- Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound legal advice and guidance.
- Proven track record of representing clients in litigation matters related to construction and real estate.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
