Schedule: Flex 5/8s, ongoing contract

Overview:

This position will be assisting the Construction Buyers on site as well as assisting with managing Purchase Orders.

Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel, various software, typing, 10 key
by touch, copier/scanner experience.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Communication Skills: Ability to successfully communicate by written or verbal communication. Writing must be neat and legible.
Reasoning ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Must be able to work in an office environment (shared office space).
Assist the Purchasing Agent with construction purchase orders, expediting orders, and other duties as assigned
Compose Purchase Orders - preparation of purchase orders and all purchase order documents to be sent to vendors, enter purchase orders in GP Mate software.
Maintain a filing system.
Word processing for general correspondence and forms control.
Document Control of purchasing documents, recordkeeping, answer phone and take messages as needed.
