MFCC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Superintendent to oversee and manage multifamily and commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong leader who can coordinate multiple trades, manage schedules, and enforce safety protocols, all while maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.

- Project Oversight: Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is executed according to plans, specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Team Management: Lead, coordinate, and direct the work of field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that work is completed efficiently and with high-quality standards.
- Schedule Management: Develop, update, and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the project management team. Ensure work is completed on time and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate unforeseen delays or challenges.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets or exceeds project quality standards. Conduct regular inspections to verify that construction adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders. Provide daily progress updates, resolve any on-site issues, and ensure clear communication throughout the project.
- Safety Enforcement: Implement and enforce safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on the job site. Ensure all workers are adhering to safety regulations and that the work environment is safe for all personnel.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential challenges or obstacles and proactively implement solutions to avoid delays or budget overruns. Address any on-site issues in real time to keep the project on track.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily job logs, work performed, safety inspections, material usage, and time sheets. Submit required reports to project management in a timely manner.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project schedules and quality standards. Review subcontractor work for accuracy and completeness and provide feedback as necessary.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent in multifamily or commercial construction.
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish, with a focus on meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Familiarity with project management software and construction technology. ProCore is a plus!
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- OSHA certification and other safety credentials are a plus.
