Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage railroad construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, extensive knowledge of railroad construction practices and regulations, and proven leadership abilities to effectively manage project teams and resources. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM)) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on railroad infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of railroad construction practices, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing project teams and resources.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Experience with programs such as Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365 preferred but not required

Job Details
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with stakeholders.
- Oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Resource Management:
- Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Monitor and track project expenses, procurement, and inventory to stay within budget constraints.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve any safety hazards or compliance issues.
- Promote a culture of safety among project team members and subcontractors, emphasizing the importance of adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, fostering a cohesive and productive working environment.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
- Monitor project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to proactively identify and address any deviations from project goals or objectives.
