Construction Project Manager - KELNER HOMES

At KelnerHomes we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at our corporate office in Tampa, Florida.

This role offers the exciting opportunity to manage a variety of construction projects across the beautiful state of Florida.

About You:

Construction Project Manager makes sure that construction projects get delivered successfully.

Successfully means that Construction Project Manager guarantees the scope of works are completed:

1) Under budget

2) Ahead of schedule

3) 5-star quality

4) Without causing harm to people or the environment.

What to do:

They do this by understanding and applying fundamental construction and project management tools and techniques.

They use project scheduling, contract management, stakeholder management, cost management, quality management to ensure the project's objectives are achieved.

On top of this they can read and interpret engineering drawings and understand what is being built and understand the construction methods required to do this.

They are able to coordinate and align with workers and subcontractors, and stakeholders to complete these tasks.

Valuable Final Product:

Projects completed on time and in compliance with the budget.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A solid understanding of building construction processes and best practices

• Previous construction work management experience

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans

• Hands-on experience managing construction sites and crews

• Excellent communication skills, able to connect effectively with crew members, management, and external vendors

• A proven track record of reliability and integrity on the job

• Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.

• In the past, there is a proven track record of working with 5-star materials and houses. We need a 5-star quality product.

Formal Education/Training

• High school diploma/GED

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
