We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our growing company. We are a leading global supplier of disinfection and sterilization solutions for medicine. Our company develops, produces, and distributes equipment for hospitals and clinics for sterile processing solutions.
Responsibilities
You will manage equipment installation projects and be responsible for maintaining customer relationships for the Western side of the US. The home-based position includes travel up to 75%. Other responsibilities include:
1)Project Management:
- Ensures projects adhere to approved scope, budget, and schedule.
- Assumes responsibility for equipment installation rollout, including site preparations and labor resource workflow management.
2)Risk Mitigation and Communication:
- Identifies and addresses potential liabilities, risks, or delays affecting project completion.
- Communicates plans to mitigate any impact on the project.
- Coordination and Support:
3)Manages day-to-day project development and task assignments.
- Provides on-site customer support and acts as a liaison between our company and external clients.
- Attends construction meetings to ensure clear understanding of installation requirements.
4)Collaboration:
- Works closely with Sales, Engineering, CAD, Field Service, and Production to ensure availability of employees and equipment.
5)Seamless Hand-off:
- Ensures accurate and timely hand-off from Planning & Design to Sales and Service departments.
Qualifications:
Construction Project Management Experience
- 4+ years of experience in construction project management.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
Key Skills:
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative abilities.
- Effective communication skills for both written and verbal interactions with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding construction documents (drawings, details, and technical specifications).
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability:
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to forecast project revenue and respond appropriately to unexpected outcomes.
Travel Readiness:
- Willingness to travel up to 75%, primarily within the continental US.
Not Required but Our Ideal Candidate would have:
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or minimum 4 years’ experience construction project management
- PMP Certification
