The Construction Project Manager– Oversees multiple self-perform steel projects. This individual will be responsible for project management from inception to completion, including cost tracking, resource coordination, crane planning, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role requires a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to travel to job sites.

The Construction Project Manager– Oversees multiple self-perform steel projects. This individual will be responsible for project management from inception to completion, including cost tracking, resource coordination, crane planning, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role requires a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to travel to job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Estimating and Project Leadership to define project scope, budgets, and assumptions while managing costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee multiple projects to ensure profitability, safety, and quality compliance.
- Develop site-specific erection and crane plans and manage equipment and resource allocation to meet project needs.
- Track and manage change events, including man-hours and Change Order Requests (CORs), ensuring timely approvals and billing.
- Prepare submittals, shop drawings, pay applications, and invoices, and present Monthly Project Status Reports (MPSR) to leadership.
- Ensure accurate field documentation, including reports, toolbox talks, and hazard analyses, while maintaining compliance with Quality Management and safety standards.
- Support material and labor takeoffs for Change Orders and handle additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in self-perform trade work is required.
- 30-hour OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; VISTA software experience a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Estimating experience preferred.
- Willing to travel to job sites, including overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
