As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead construction administration activities, ensuring the successful delivery of a wide variety of exciting projects across sectors including science & technology, commercial, higher education, and civic design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead construction administration for small to large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, including design staff, owners, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee contractor submittals, ensuring all documentation is processed in a timely manner.
- Respond effectively to contractor requests for information and resolve any project-related challenges.
- Facilitate progress meetings, site observations, and document findings.
- Review contractorsÂ’ pay requests and ensure accuracy.
- Manage project closeout, ensuring all documentation is complete and satisfactory.
- Mentor and train staff on construction administration procedures.
Qualifications
- ~ 5+ years of experience in construction administration, contract administration, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry processes, codes, AIA documentation, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites and work remotely as required.
- A professional degree in Architecture or Construction Management is desirable but not required. An architectural license is a plus.
