Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a **Construction Project Manager I - Associate** to be based in New York, NY. Will operate directly with the NYC SCA on projects related to schools throughout New York City and the surrounding boroughs. Will report to a Project Officer, Level I, II, III or to a Senior Project Officer. May perform a broad range of supportive and necessary school construction technical tasks of varying degrees of difficulty in a variety of assignments within the Construction Management Department. **Responsibilities:** + Review documents submitted for City-required building and other permits for completeness and accuracy. + Provide support to permit applicants in completing the filing procedure with various City agencies. + Deliver documents to various city agencies for data entry, review and/or approval. + Research existing building status from City records at various agencies. + Perform related tasks. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + BA/BS in a related field plus no relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. **Preferred Qualifications** + Shall have a four (4) year college degree from an accredited college related to construction management, architecture, or engineering, or + A two (2) years technical degree from accredited college and two (2) years of full-time experience performing: construction inspection and monitoring of construction projects, or + Will have a working knowledge of computer software system (e.g. Excel, Word). + A driver’s license valid in New York State. + A satisfactory combination of education and experience. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship is available for this position. + Relocation is not available for this position Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
