Condon-Johnson & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage design-build shoring projects from inception to completion. As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for estimating, cost control, scheduling, and ensuring timely project completion. You will be responsible for the administration of your team, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in deep foundations, earth retention, and ground improvement, along with a strong background in project management.

- Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of project administration, including budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and profitability for deep foundation, earth retention, and ground improvement projects.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise project teams, ensuring all work aligns with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong client relationships by acting as the primary point of contact, managing expectations, and resolving any issues.
- Project Planning: Review project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, and staffing requirements.
- Billing & Payments: Complete owner billings and process payments in accordance with project contracts, ensuring financial accuracy.
- Budget Monitoring: Track and adjust project budgets to maintain profitability and manage resources efficiently.
- Change Management: Execute internal and external change management processes to adapt to project requirements.
- Safety Management: Ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment by enforcing compliance with OSHA, EPA, and EHS regulations.
- Project Closeout: Manage the project closeout process to ensure that contractual agreements are met and final documentation is completed.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with Superintendents, field staff, and team members to ensure updates on project progress and alignment with goals.
- Education: BS or MS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of field experience and 5-8 years of progressively responsible project management experience, ideally in deep foundations, earth retention, and ground improvement.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding OSHA/EPA construction standards, and EHS regulations, with experience conducting safety training.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to guide teams and maintain high standards of work.
- Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing environments.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
