We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Construction Project Manager to join our Geotech team, specializing in Shoring Projects. The successful candidate will be a part of a highly skilled team in the Engineering industry, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in drilling, ground improvement, earth retention, and grouting. This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, providing technical leadership and ensuring project completion within budget and on schedule. With a minimum of 5+ years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects and a strong understanding of the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, design, and implementation for geotechnical and shoring projects.
2. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
3. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
6. Provide technical guidance on drilling, ground improvement, earth retention, deatering and grouting techniques.
7. Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
8. Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
9. Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on geotechnical and shoring projects.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in drilling, ground improvement, earth retention, and grouting.
4. Strong understanding of construction laws, codes, and regulations.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
9. A strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
