Construction Project Manager - General Construction Company - Base Salary to 170k/year - Morrisville, PA

They are a General Construction Company that specializes in turnkey building projects from small to large. They pride themselves on consistent repeat and referral projects due to their quality and ability to build relationships with owners and top-tier subcontractors. They have a wide range of specialties that include car dealerships, emergency service facilities, labs and research, manufacturing and chemical facilities, retail, warehouses, and much more.
• The Construction Project Manager is a crucial player on this local team in Morrisville. Our client believes that a successful project begins with treating everyone with fairness and respect including customers, vendors, subcontractors, code officials and of course our own staff. They are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager that will fully own each project they are given. Construction Project Managers must be able to manage the financial, scheduling, customer relations and quality control aspects of multiple projects with full accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Creating scopes of work for development of contract documents
• Reviewing and submitting submittals to design professionals
• Marking up monthly requisitions
• Coordinating utility applications
• Overseeing punch list completion
• Scheduling via Microsoft Project
• General oversight and assistance with the Superintendent
• Project Managers should also reflect strong writing skills in preparing contract documents, maintaining schedules, writing subcontracts/change orders, and issuing meeting minutes

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager for a General Construction Company
• Must have experience with ground up construction projects and site work supervision – experience with only interior fit-outs or tenant improvements will not be a fit
• Must have experience with commercial Design-Build projects
• Industrial experience is highly preferred along with commercial experience with specialty knowledge in the following:
  • Strong mechanical and electrical experience for specialty industrial projects is highly desired as well
• Estimating experience is highly preferred but not required
• Experience managing projects with high-end interior finishes is a huge plus
• Experience managing 2-3 projects at a time valued from 8 million dollars to 20 million dollars each
• Experience with Microsoft Project for Schedule Building
• The ability to visit projects as needed during the week – 90% of projects are within 1 hour of the office

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 130k – 170k/year range
• Bonus program (percentage of project completion)
