Construction/Project Manager - ConsultNet

Job Title: Construction/Project Manager
Location: Elko, NV (able to have homebase within a 500-mile radius)
Duration: 6-9+ months, contract with rotating on/off schedule
Pay range: $60-$80/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities:
Perform and manage technical tasks such as onsite construction coordination/management, scope and report writing on mechanical, structural, and civil projects at multiple industrial mining operations.
Perform a range of tasks requiring utilization of management, engineering techniques and development of cost effective remedial strategies.
Assist in and potentially lead efforts in developing Scope of Work documents based on engineering packages, project planning and execution, Contractor management, project reporting, and representing the client to ensure a safe work environment.
As a client's representative on various industrial projects, it is a requirement to have the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of junior and intermediate level staff, and Contractors on projects as appropriate.
Provide direction and guidance to field personnel.

Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or related Construction Management fields preferred.
10+ years of related Contractor Management experience in industrial mining, preferably in-plant brownfield, and greenfield project execution.
Experience with the construction means and methods of industrial pumping and storage systems, concrete and structural steel installations. An understanding of electrical installations is also a plus.
The successful candidate will have experience in mining process operations, MSHA rules and regulation, with a heavy background in construction and project management.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills is required.
Must be computer literate and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Project. PowerPoint knowledge is beneficial.
Current MSHA certification is a plus. Past MSHA experience is a must.
Note: It is not a requirement that the candidate live in Nevada. Temporary housing in Elko NV., plus Per Diem and a company truck will be provided as part of this package.
