About the Job
Our client, a growing commercial real estate development team is currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager. You will play an integral role managing the full scope of tenant construction project management, overseeing the full scope from start to finish with respect to our retail and shopping center properties. Your responsibilities will include providing diligent support to the Construction Director and ensuring the successful completion of designated projects.
Essential Job Duties:
- Contribute to and support project goals by performing administrative tasks including maintaining documentation, supporting vendors and contractors with timeline deliverables, and overall assisting with the project management process.
- Support the realization and reporting of individual engagements while maintaining operational standards.
- Process and maintain project-related confidential documentation, such as agreements, contracts, purchase orders, and work authorizations.
- Assist with project administration deliverables, including reviewing and/or preparing requisitions, status reports, change orders, payment applications, and other invoices associated with the project.
- Support the project management team in identifying requirements, estimating costs, preparing schedules, and coordinating the completion of required work.
- Participate in building evaluations and due diligence reviews, providing assistance in the preparation of physical audit reports.
- Assist in project close-out procedures.
- Perform related assignments as required in the daily operation of the group.
Education/Experience/Training:
- A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. However, work experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience is preferred, preferably in an owner environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative support skills with a deep understanding of project management business.
- Ability to develop client relations, demonstrate client management skills, and provide effective consultation.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication.
Compensation: $90K-100K base plus excellent benefit package
This is an onsite position in our corporate office as well as onsite traveling to properties.
