Job Details
- Manage project scheduling and contract negotiations
- Participate in the planning process by providing budget information to property developers
- Develop a bid list for assigned projects, analyze bids, pre-qualify contractors, and award projects to the selected contractor(s)
- Be responsible for meeting financial, budget, and forecasting objectives and requirements
- Establish and monitor construction schedule, track, and monitor construction progress through site reports
- Perform onsite inspections to ensure standards are being met and construction is adhering to plans and specifications
- Ensure project costs are aligned with approved budgets as well as approve contractor invoices and change order requests
- Lead project to timely completion, to the scope and budget projections, and obtain a certificate of occupancy
- Function as positive, proactive liaison between multiple onsite teams, third party groups, and corporate office departments, supporting effective and productive communication between all stakeholders
- Hire, manage, and direct your internal team of Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents
What you need for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years’ experience in Construction or Civil Engineering or related field
- 10+ years’ experience in Residential Construction Project Management
- Field experience in podium/wrap construction
- Extensive computer knowledge (Windows), and working knowledge of construction and project management software
- OSHA 30-hour Certification; issued in the past three years, and current First Aid & CPR training certificate
