We are seeking a Construction Project Manager Assistant to support the Project Manager in coordinating and overseeing daily operations of construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with project documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and communication between teams and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager Assistant to support the Project Manager in coordinating and overseeing daily operations of construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with project documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and communication between teams and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
- Help maintain project schedules and timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Prepare and update status reports, meeting notes, and other project-related documentation.
- Procurement & Materials Management:
- Assist in ordering materials and equipment as needed, ensuring proper delivery schedules.
- Help monitor inventory and track the use of materials on site.
- Communication & Stakeholder Support:
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Serve as a liaison between the project manager and other team members, providing timely updates and resolving minor issues as they arise.
- Budget & Cost Tracking:
- Assist in tracking project budgets, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that expenditures are within budget.
- Help with invoice processing and budget reconciliation.
- Site Support & Safety Compliance:
- Assist with site visits to monitor project progress and ensure work is progressing according to plan.
- Help ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on site.
- Quality Control:
- Support the Project Manager in conducting quality control inspections and ensuring that work meets specified standards.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to work quality or safety.
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in a construction-related role (internships or assistant roles can be considered).
- Familiarity with construction processes, terminology, and safety regulations.
- Basic knowledge of construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior project managers.
- Previous experience as a construction project coordinator or assistant.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction-related software.
- OSHA or other safety certifications.
