Job Details
This is an on-site position out of our Alpharetta, Georgia office.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient execution of commercial construction projects as directed.
Essential Things You'll Do:
- Manages day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple and/or large-scale projects in Procore.
- Develops & maintains strict adherence to schedules of projects and communicates with Superintendents and/or subcontractors on a daily basis to ensure assigned projects are on track for completion.
- Ensures contracts, commitments, change orders, and budgets are approved prior to any work being completed.
- Minimizes company exposure and risk across assigned projects by compiling with company processes and procedures.
- Meets reporting expectations of customers for assigned projects.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and distributed appropriately.
- Plans projects while developing and organizing all related information, including accurate and timely reporting and billing. This includes pre-construction (estimating, sub-contractor qualification & selection, etc.)
- Meets margin requirements on all projects.
- Maintains contact with client management personnel to ensure ongoing satisfaction with assigned projects.
- Communicates with the customer representative(s) in a supportive and professional manner at all time
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years’ experience performing project management-related tasks.
- 5+ years' experience with big and medium box construction projects and/or heavy retail renovation.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency with computer programs such as Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and Procore.
- The skills, knowledge and ability to prepare and organize documents to the point they maximize field effectiveness and support profitability achievement.
How You'll Stand Out:
- 3+ years’ project management experience in construction.
- Architecture experience.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Proven development beyond high school in areas of business management and/or project administration in an educational and/or related work experience.
