Job Details
As a Project Estimator, you will be involved in estimating, planning, and overseeing product needs for light commercial and multi-family construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review project blueprints and assist in performing detailed takeoffs for windows and doors to support cost estimation.
Analyze product specifications and compare schedules for accuracy.
Collaborate with sales staff to prepare presentations and provide project insights for client discussions.
Assist with the preparation of product submittals for client and project approval.
Partner with field teams and job site supervisors to identify warranty issues, damaged parts, or replacement needs and coordinate solutions with manufacturers.
Support scheduling and management of product delivery timelines to ensure materials arrive at job sites on time and in good condition.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on task-oriented work.
Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus.
Comfortable using computers and learning a variety of software programs.
Prior experience with construction projects is a bonus but not required.
Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
