We are currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Logistics Specialist III located in Los Angeles, CA .
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
Certifications:
- Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP etc., or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certifications.
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- 15 years or more experience, preferably in airport building programs or similar complex building programs.
- Wayfinding specialists with multiple years of airport experience installing, monitoring, and maintaining temporary wayfinding systems across terminals, roadways, and pedestrian paths.
- Skilled at creating and implementing plans and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure continuity across various complex construction projects.
- Qualified in managing a team, and overseeing the production, installation, and maintenance of temporary construction on signage.
- Experienced at balancing existing responsibilities with new demands, adapting to increased labor and production needs.
- Possess a strong understanding of environmental design principles and spatial navigation, critical to enhancing the guest experience during high-traffic construction activities within an airport environment.
- An expert at managing an increased workload, and workflows, adjusting to new projects, and maintaining operations during peak construction and operational changes.
- Proactively identifies potential time-space conflicts and proposes solutions. Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting, maintaining efficiency and operational quality.
- The candidate shall pass the federal background check and LAWA Badge is required
Responsibilities:
- Works effectively with project managers, Airport Police, and other stakeholders to ensure pedestrian routing and guest experience standards are met.
- Communicate updates on logistical changes.
- Actively participates and supports the opening of new and renovated facilities.
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all temporary signage aligns with LAWA's wayfinding standards and operational needs.
Salary:
- $156,780.00 annually
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
