We are currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Logistics Specialist - III located in Los Angeles, CA .
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
Certifications:
- Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP etc., or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certifications.
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- 15 years or more experience, preferably in airport building programs or similar complex building programs.
- Specialist in construction logistics coordinating construction within a critical, high-traffic environment.
- Understanding of civil construction with years of experience at a large airport.
- Deep knowledge of project scope, schedules, and potential conflicts across multi-year timelines.
- Experienced in working closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, airport officials, and external agencies, to coordinate project activities, and conduct coordination sessions, with a focus on maintaining clear, open communication.
- Ability to manage priorities, adjust strategies, and handle high-pressure environments, particularly with high-profile and complex project requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document editing tools to organize project data, create schedules, and support project efforts.
- The candidate shall pass the federal background check and LAWA Badge is required
Responsibilities:
- Review new projects for time and space conflicts, impacts on ongoing construction projects, and operational impacts.
- Conduct reviews of projects' submittals Phasing Plan and Site Logistics Plans, as submitted through ASR and LIR process.
- Schedule site walks to verify activities, impacts, schedule, and plan upcoming phase field changes.
- Create reports and communicate logistics on multiple projects for team collaboration.
- Actively participate in ongoing logistics and changes.
- Adept at identifying and managing scheduling conflicts in high-impact construction environments. Works to anticipate issues and collaborates with teams to resolve them, maintaining project timelines and minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Ensures compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Partners with stakeholders to prepare for operational readiness, implementing protocols that prioritize safety and efficiency for passengers and tenants.
- Maintains structure in managing and tracking logistics details across multiple projects, ensuring all updates are reliable and accessible for stakeholders.
- Communicates complex logistics information clearly and concisely, making it accessible for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in data management to accurately document project impacts and develop detailed tracking tools for reporting.
Salary:
- $156,780.00 annually
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
