Job Details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years of experience in construction or project engineering roles.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or equivalent tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between various project stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Review project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with design standards and client requirements.
- Support the procurement process by managing material orders and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Conduct onsite inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with field teams to resolve issues and implement project modifications as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and expenditures.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and status updates.
