A detail-oriented multitasker who is enthusiastic about supporting the company’s project management in both accounting and administrative capacities. You are a team player and a self-starter who can get the job done.
You have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a construction office environment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
- Strong organizational, detail-orientation and effective time management skills
- Understanding of lien releases, project specific insurance, progress billing and project compliance
- Ability to research information, problem solve and prioritize multiple requests
- Keen business analytics skills to effectively weigh options and make tough decisions before presenting findings to decision makers
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Initiative to manage time, improve processes and the organization to help increase efficiency and productivity
What you’ll be doing
As a Project Accountant at ConXtech, you’ll:
- Work with project managers to create monthly project progress billings
- Secure project specific insurance certificates for us and our subcontractors
- When applicable, manage OCIP/CCIP enrollments for us and our subcontractors
- Focus on data, statistical analysis and reporting to investigate and analyze business performance, provide insights, and drive recommendations to improve performance
- Acquire lien waivers from vendors
- File preliminary liens
- Follow up on payment status with the clients when needed
- Post incoming payments
- Input/maintain project budgets
- Produce weekly cost reports
- Maintain job files both electronic and hard copy
- Assist with project managements administrative requirements
Where you’ll be working
You’ll be working from our fun, commuter friendly Pleasanton, CA headquarters with an option to work a couple days per week remotely from home.
