Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers, including contractors, builders, and construction professionals.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
- Educate customers on a comprehensive range of construction products, including concrete repair, masonry restoration, sealants, coatings, and waterproofing products.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and timely delivery of products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and action plans to effectively manage territory and track performance metrics.
- Travel within sales territory
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the construction material distribution and supply industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated sales territory (Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia)
