Construction Office Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator in Anaheim, CA. This is a full-time, in-office position. You will be working closely with the company President and Executive Vice President. Qualified candidates will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, drive to win, team mentality, good problem-solving skills, and honesty and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage clerical tasks, including email correspondence, answering phones, FedEx, scheduling. appointments and other various office duties assigned to create smooth office operations.
- Order and maintain City Business Licenses.
- Track and record DMV registrations and renewals.
- Make sure all keys are accounted for / Office and vehicles
- Demonstrate effective communication skills through email correspondence and phone calls.
- Foster positive interactions with office staff, field personnel and clients.
- Will represent the front office and welcome individuals who visit the office.
- Maintain a proactive approach to managing office responsibilities, contributing to the overall efficiency and functionality of the office setting.
- Assist with the maintenance and renewal of State Contractors Licenses.
- Organize supplies in the kitchen and restrooms.
- Ordering office supplies
- Assist with the accounting department with miscellaneous clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous Construction office experience a plus
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are a must!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel).
- Ability to multi-task.
- Licensed Notary is a plus but not required.
- An associate degree is ideal but not required.
- Previous work experience within the construction industry is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Compensation:
- $25.00 - $30.00 based on experience
