Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Monitoring Inspector position include:

Experience and understanding of commercial construction building processes.
Proficiency in evaluating General Contractor’s monthly pay applications and related construction documents (e.g., plans, AIA G702/G703, Change Orders).
Ability to conduct thorough site visits and prepare detailed reports based on inspections and contractor invoices.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; technical writing skills are essential.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Ability to travel locally, with overnight visits up to 1-3 times per month.
Background in construction management, estimating, or inspection is beneficial; no building code knowledge is required.

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including excellent medical coverage at less than $100/month, 401(k) plan with a 4% company match and no vesting period, 15 days of PTO with 3 days rollover, and reimbursement for travel expenses such as mileage, meals, and hotels.
