Construction Manager - Akkodis

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181- hybrid.

Title: Project Manager- Civil

Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181- 3 days onsite

Duration: Contractual- 12 months

Pay Rate: $63-65/hr. on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description

A Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion. They oversee all aspects of a project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.

Responsibilities may include:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Project Management.

Leading project teams and coordinating activities to ensure that project goals are met.

Project Management; Utility experience (Electric, Gas, or Water) or Civil construction experience

Experience reviewing Contract Proposals from vendors

Communicating with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on project status.

Experience with Construction contract management.

Facility Relocation: for a municipality, county, or state's Public Improvement projects (e.g. Road widening, new bike lane, new street light), Client has to relocate our electric utilities (Overhead and/or Underground).

PM's manage this relocation through Design, Construction, and Close Out

Utility experience (Electric, Gas, or Water) or Civil construction experience is highly valuable for this position
