Responsibilities:Due to our continued growth, our New York City office is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead a team working on public infrastructure projects throughout the five boroughs.
- Coordinates project activities establishes priorities and staff to jobs. Prepares Summary Inspection Report of Daily activities.
- Monitors contractor progress and compares with the reviewed progress schedule.
- Resolves technical field issues, and coordinates with Architects and Engineers for timely and accurate responses to requests for information.
- Oversees project controls, including checking contractors’ controls and coordinating schedules, reviews constructors schedule.
- Supervising and mentoring all Inspectors and office engineers; monitoring their activities and providing leadership.
- Providing guidance to inspection staff on the usual CM/inspections tasks such as: invoice review/approval, construction inspection, schedule control, cost control, reporting, progress meetings, contract close-out, etc.
- Reviews submittals for conformance to plans and specifications. Develops strategies with the contractor to create submittal packages that conform to schedule requirements.
- Provides interpretation and enforcement of contract plans and specifications. Develops strategies with the contractor to create submittal packages that conform to schedule requirements.
- Confirms change order requests, develops estimates, negotiates costs, and writes change orders.
- Ensure Adherences to Safety, Quality, Ethical Standards, Lessons Learned, and Performance Management programs in accordance with Division Company/Program Policies, Standards, Guides, and Contractual commitments.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinating with Managers and staff as project completion approaches in order to facilitate a smooth start-up of the new facilities.
- Ability to Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring not only the technical success of the projects but also delivering the projects on time and within budget.
- Client management, project management and management of project business functions such as productivity/billability
- Manage and develop staff as assigned, including providing input on performance evaluations.
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, or Engineering
- Ideally you will also have a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) license (NY)
- 10+ years’ experience in a construction management role
- In-depth understand OSHA safety regulations Strong communication and time-management skills
- NYCDDC, NYCEDC, NYCDEP, MTA or similar experience required

Compensation: $120,000.00 to $190,000.00 per year
Base pay offered for this New York based role may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
