About the Job
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER:
-Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
-Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
-Develop and maintain project cost/change controls and project budget and accounting records.
-Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
-Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
-Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
-Meet contractual conditions of performance.
-Review the work progress on daily basis.
-Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
-Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
-Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
-Analyze manage and mitigate risks.
-Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
-Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of contract, including project costs and potential changes.
-Report status of projects to all parties involved and attend client meetings as needed.
A Bachelor’s degree is required in one of the following fields: Construction Science, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related engineering degree.
Experience required in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or as an Architect.
The position requires daily travel to job sites within the local area. No National or International travel is required.
$99,549/Yr.
