About the Position
We are seeking experienced Construction Managers at various levels in their careers who will provide day-to-day management of federal construction projects and provide leadership and guidance to project teams in the performance of their work activities. Key services include constructability reviews, cost and schedule management, risk mitigation measures, and third-party interface.
These are full-time, onsite rolesat various locations across the United States. Candidates must be willing to travel and/or relocate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in multiple specialties (e.g., roofing, window replacement, curtain walls, asphalt/concrete, R&A, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Provide requisite resources to oversee the work of architect/engineer and contractor(s).
- Manage and ensure compliance with the scope of work and all project deliverables.
- Manage the project budget, schedule, quality, and safety.
- Ensures contractor(s) and architect/engineer(s) adherence to their contracts.
- Manage changes to project scope, cost and schedule and develop mitigation measures.
- Prepare project progress reports and keep all project stakeholders informed of project status.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+, 10+, and 15+ (Construction Manager I, II, or III, respectively) years' experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities.
- Experience with project and construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project, Bluebeam, RSMeans, etc.)
- Experience with BIM/software.
- Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must have familiarity with government project management information systems and other government applications (e.g., Kahua, CEF, etc.)
- Must have a solid understanding of project direct and indirect costs.
- Must be fully knowledgeable of contractor cost and fee schedules related to contractor operations, equipment, and fleet management.
- Highly skilled in detail-oriented documentation, with significant abilities in successfully communicating with Government Project Managers, Subject Matter Expert/s (SMEs), and development team members, as well as successfully providing written feedback to Government Project Manager, clients, etc.
- Proven experience coordinating a project management team and providing appropriate levels of support, coaching and influence.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs to conduct needs analyses and develop project requirements/objectives.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), or Architect Registration (AIA) preferred.
Compensation Details
The salary range listed for these roles is $72-128K/yr ($35-62/hr). The final salary offered is based on the level of position (Construction Manager I, II, or III) and multiple other factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
